Sand dunes creeping up and around cliffs was a major thing on the sinai map. Mixing up terrain sculpting, terrain decals and meshes with scattering to make it look natural and seamless.

Overview of the entire fao map. I did all the bits up until and around the fortress, that was done by Schönherr.

Began this project as a 3D artist making props but by the end I was a level artist and I got to do some big things on the maps Fao fortress and Sinai desert. I was level art on both maps, together with massively talented Joakim Stigsson on sinai and Daniel Schönherr on Fao fortress. Both maps designed by legend Inge-Jöran Hollberg.
